This is the premise of NIA®, a movement form based on martial, dance, and healing arts.
A Body Moves exclusive, Nia has been a well-loved practice since the studio’s beginning. Why? The 52 simple moves of Nia make it an accessible movement form for all. Practiced in bare feet to inspiring music, Nia is non-impact and adaptable to individual needs and abilities, addressing all parts of fitness: flexibility, agility, cardiorespiratory, strength, and balance. An ongoing Nia practice promotes a wellness lifestyle of fitness, health, power, and beauty.

Enjoying dancing in a fun costume or your favorite Nia gear as you join Body Moves instructor’s Ama, Pat, Carrie, Naomi, Deb, and Beth for a fabulous session of dance and joy!
The unique styles of each instructor will blend seamlessly together through the 7 cycles of an Nia class with a special time of fellowship and community to follow. Participants are invited to bring a healthy snack to share and their own beverage. Water and tableware will be provided.
