Day TWELVE of Gratitude Challenge 2024

Just a few more days left of our
Gratitude Challenge 2024!

For many, today is the get-it-done day before the holiday but first, let’s make it a give-thanks day.

Remind yourself of what you have to be thankful for as you:

Write an acoustic poem using
the word thankful.

Don’t let your inner censor keep you from doing this activity! Writing may not be your strong point, but there is value in it nonetheless!!

Grab a piece of paper and write the word “THANKFUL” down the middle. Using those eight letters, think of one thing to be thankful for using each letter provided at the beginning, middle, or end of a word. Each line can be one word, a phrase, or a sentence. There’s no right or wrong.

If you are more literary, expand your phrase to “I AM THANKFUL” and turn it into a poem.

If you are more artistically inclined, enhance your work with color and images.

Perhaps make a simple list, then pick one item to write a little blurb about why you are grateful for one or all of those things.

Maybe you just savor the moment, pausing to think for a few moments on why you are thankful for each specific item.

Hopefully you have experienced how each of the activities in this challenge are what YOU make of it. Recognize that as this is something you can continue to build after the challenge is over…but it’s not over yet!
